Welcome to Turkey’s

Welcome to Turkey’s Cafe & Pizzeria, nestled in the heart of downtown Harbor Springs at 250 E Main Street. Since our beginning in 1975, we’ve been proud to serve our community and visitors with warm, welcoming service and a menu that spans from hearty breakfast to casual evening pizza.

We started as a cozy local café and have grown into a favorite gathering place for families, friends, and anyone looking for good food in a relaxed setting. Over the years, we’ve built a reputation for something we believe matters just as much as the food – making people feel at home. Whether you’re starting your day with breakfast, stopping in for lunch, or sharing a pizza at dinner, we’re here to make it a good experience.

The family history behind it all.

Two young children, a girl and a boy, are at a restaurant or diner. The girl is handing the boy a drink with a straw. The boy is sitting cross-legged on a bench, sipping from the straw. The girl is wearing a pink outfit and black shoes, and the boy is wearing a striped shirt and blue jeans. There are bottles displayed on a shelf above them, and the background includes a wall with a red stripe.

The Graham family has been part of Harbor Springs since the 1930s, when my great-grandfather, Frank A. Graham, opened the first dental office in town. Known affectionately as “Frank the Dentist,” he also served as an inventor, musician, and lifelong sports enthusiast. He and my great-grandmother, Hilda, built their first home on the east end of Bluff Drive, overlooking the baseball fields — the same neighborhood our family has called home for generations.

My grandfather, Thomas F. Graham, followed in his father’s footsteps and became a dentist as well, serving Harbor Springs for over 40 years. Known for his kindness, humor, and love of good conversation, “Dr. Tom” was a beloved member of the community. He and my grandmother, Betty Graham, raised their family here while staying deeply involved in town life — from volunteering at the Holy Childhood Church to supporting local sports and civic groups.

The Graham family has always believed in giving back to Harbor Springs. My dad’s brothers — William, Mike, and Pierce Graham — each continued that legacy in their own ways, from dentistry to law and business. Main Street Dentistry, run by my uncle Pierce, served Harbor Springs for decades as a cornerstone of local care.

In 1975, my father, Jeff “Turk” Graham, took a different path — one that would help shape downtown Harbor Springs for decades to come. With a love of food, community, and hospitality, he opened Turkey’s Café & Pizzeria, inspired by the small-town spirit and family gatherings that defined his upbringing. Over the years, “Turk” became known not only for his great pizza but also for his generosity, humor, and ability to make everyone feel at home.

Today, I’m proud to carry on his legacy. As his daughter, I grew up watching him pour his heart into this business — and into Harbor Springs itself. It’s an honor to continue what he started and keep Turkey’s a place where locals and visitors alike can share good food and good company.

For nearly 50 years, Turkey’s Café & Pizzeria has been more than a restaurant — it’s been part of Harbor Springs’ story. I’m grateful to continue that story, serving up the same warmth, flavor, and community spirit that my dad began in 1975.
